We love our products and hope that you will enjoy them just as much as we do.
We offer free returns or exchanges within 7 days of receiving your order, subject to conditions set out in section 1.
Returns or exchanges will not be accepted after 30 days of receipt of your order.
Please note that items on sale are non-exchangeable.

1. Product Returns & Exchanges
You may contact us to arrange a return or exchange of your product, provided that all of the following criteria are met:
The product remains undamaged and unused, with the original labels intact.
The product retains its original, unspoiled packaging.
No accessories or parts of the product are missing.
Marutu is informed of your intention to return or exchange the product via email at info@marutu.co.za within 30 days of receipt of your order.
The product is eligible for return or exchange.

2. Incorrect Orders
If you receive an incorrect product, please notify us via email at info@marutu.co.za, so that we can arrange to collect the incorrect product at no charge. After inspecting the product and validating the return, we will either deliver the correct product as soon as possible or issue a refund if preferred.
Please note that incorrect products which have been used or damaged may be
refused for return or exchange, and the conditions set out in Section 1 above shall apply in such cases.

4. Products Damaged on Delivery
Should a product be damaged at the time of delivery or collection, please contact us immediately via email at info@marutu.co.za. We will arrange for the damaged product to be collected at no charge. After inspecting the product, we will either replace it as soon as possible or issue a refund if preferred.

5. Defective Products
A product will be deemed defective if a material imperfection or flaw exists in its materials, components, or manufacture, making it less acceptable than would reasonably be expected.
The following will not be regarded as defects and will not entitle the purchaser to a return:
Faults resulting from normal wear and tear
Damage resulting from negligence, abuse by the user, or incorrect usage of the product
Damage resulting from overexposure to sunlight
Damage arising from failure to adequately care for the product
Damage resulting from alterations made to the product

6. Return Shipping & Costs
Marutu will arrange for the collection and shipment of the product. This service is designed to ease the burden of the return process, allowing you to enjoy the Marutu shopping experience to the fullest.
For exchanges, shipping costs will be charged to the customer.
For refunds not related to incorrect orders, damaged items, or defective products, the purchase price minus the return shipping cost will be refunded.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.

7. Charges
If a product is returned for any reason as outlined in the above sections but is found to be used, damaged, or non-compliant with the conditions of this policy, Marutu reserves the right to refuse the return or to offer only a replacement of the returned item. Additionally, if a product is returned that does not comply with the requirements of this policy, Marutu will not bear the cost of collecting or returning the product to the purchaser.

8. Processing Time
Please allow up to two weeks for returns to be processed once the item has been received. Refunds will be issued after the return has been approved. We will request your banking details once the refund has been authorised, and refunds will be processed via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer).
