Growing up on a farm, she was lovingly nicknamed Marutu by the farm workers – a name that stuck, carrying with it a sense of home.

For a long time, Marize’s art was something private – something for the edges of notebooks, but dreams have a way of waiting patiently. One day, with a little courage and a lot of heart, she decided to finally share her passion with the world.

That’s where I come in – Caelynne, her daughter, biggest fan and partner in this journey. Marutu is our shared story: A mother stepping into her long-held dream, and a daughter supporting her every step of the way.

What started as a home decor store is growing into something much more – a space for creativity, family and beautiful things made with love. We’re expanding into children’s products and everyday items that bring joy, comfort, and a sense of artistry to life’s little moments.
